SARSAV would like to welcome SARSAV Director Kate Dean to the position of SARSAVK9 committee chair as the Director responsible for SARSAVK9.

SARSAV K9 is a committee tasked with working on policy and oversight – reporting to and taking direction from the SARSAV execitive and board.

SARSAV K9 working group functions under the SARSAVK9 committee They are tasked with training, validation.   Validated handlers and their dog can deploy under SARSAV when requested by AHJ.   The committee and working group make up SARSAVK9. 

SARSAV does not self deploy

Katia Bigney – President of South East Saskatchewan Search and Rescue was elected at our SARSAV March- AGM to SARSAV K9 Director.

Katia is already jumping all fours into this role! Thank you Katia. Also a big thanks to Nathan Bartholomew for his years in the role of K9 Director and the progress you have seen us through! . We are excited to continue moving forward and growing !
